I never used to think much of them. I agreed with the Carlin bit and saw them as an extreme diet food. But now I'm hooked. They're great with Splenda. And they're ridiculously cheap this time of year. A lot of stores have them on sale $3 for a bag of 6.
My wife eats it just about every day for either breakfast or lunch and we make juice out of it. We add an orange to sweeten it up. I just bought a 25 pound bag for $6 from the orchard by our house. Living in California does have its benefits...
Always disliked them. They just taste foul. Would rather a lemon (for lemonade/cooking) or an orange.
