If you are a fan of GWAR, another bad ass old school thrash metal band is Rigor Mortis. They re-united, and will be playing New York on Nov. 4th.

"The Long Road Behind" got me through many bouts of depression a few years back.

Took a few pics, most came out like crap. Very difficult to hold a camera while people are body surfing over you head.

Wall to wall people in the pit.

Quick Video of George Bush, before the pit went completely insane.

RIGOR MORTIS is playing Northsix in Brooklyn, NY on November 4th. For ticket info, go to: http://www.northsix.com/

RIGOR MORTIS is an old school thrash band and features current/former members of GWAR, BURDEN BROTHERS, MINISTRY, the REVOLTING COCKS, SPEADEALER, & more. This show will kick ass.
Check out their myspace account: http://www.myspace.com/rigormortis

I figured I'd give this thread a bump since I'm seeing them on the 21st at Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown. It'll be my first time seeing them in concert, I can't fucking wait.

I always saw GWAR in all white.

though much to my dismay, after going through the wash, everything was all white once again.

My friend and I went to a GWAR show in Tulsa. We stopped at a truck stop for breakfast and to sober up for the 1.5 hr drive home. The waitress thought we were painters (and bad ones at that).:icon_mrgr

I know it's weird, but I like We Kill Everything more than anything else of theirs. I'm still waiting for a time when they come close enough, and aren't part of a giant expensive tour.

Apparently, they were at Pine Knob last Thursday night. Figures...I found out Friday morning. Probably wasn't that great as there's absolutely no place for a pit at the Knob. I fucking LOVE going to their Harpo's shows though, as the pits are fucking insane. Shitty little club, in the middle of gangland, and there's fucking skinheads kicking ass everywhere.

saw them twice in cincinnati (Bogarts). it's frightening how apeshit their audience is. after the show they were cool enough to hand around and sign my blood soaked shirt.

i still have the X-Cops "you fucked up" shirt i bought from there. the X-Cops album, if you can still find it (or ahem, download it) is worth a listen.

I saw GWAR a bunch of times in the early 90's but after I saw GG Allin for the first time I could never think of GWAR in quite the same way ever again.

GG just goes too far. I dont need to watch a guy shit and eat it. Plus, the Murder Junkies music is fucking awful. At least Gwar has some good tunes. I'd rather see fake blood then GG's tiny penis and shit covered face any day.

And there I was, wondering if Gwar had its thread here somewhere, because I just found out they released a new album.

See I am not the only fan.
