Firefighters are battling an extra-alarm blaze that engulfed an abandoned McKinley Park warehouse Tuesday night on the South Side.
The fire started at a building at 3757 S. Ashland Ave. and was elevated to a two- and later three-alarm blaze, according to Fire Media Affairs.
The "extreme" fire spread to all floors of the old warehouse building, the fire department said.
Firefighters continued battling the blaze at 9:30 p.m. No injuries have been reported.
