No, because I owe and want to delay the inevitable
x2, but I had delayed to the point of forgetting about them, so thank you to my pal Biv for reminding me.

Dropped them off in early February, got my refund, bought a new laptop on Presidents Day.
Filed, got my refund, and spent it already.

ANOTHER thread on this? I blame bureaucratic redundancy. :icon_cool

We have to have ours done by March every year with a kid in college and doing the FAFSA thing. Got about $700 back which was lower than last year because we made more in 2011.

Don't want to... Need to.... Still owe several grand in back taxes from 2006. Owning a small business fucking sucks around tax time.

'Re-filed' and got 4 c-notes instead of $73.
Just dropped them off today at the accountants.. getting back from NYS owe the feds. I like being as close to even as possible in April, means our savage gubment doesnt get to make interest off of any more of my money than they should.

I can keep rhythm with no metronome...
Filed in mid-February, got my return the first week of March, paid off ALL of my credit card debt and then stowed a grand of it away for rainy days.

Made 800 over to the higher bracket. Still getting back but lowest I ever got. Waiting for the deposit so I can drop it all to credit card.

I booked a trip to Disney and factored my usual return into paying it off. Oh well.

Filed back in February, got my return a few weeks ago, all spent on home improvement. Fence finished out to the street, gravel landscaping in my back yard, etc, and money all friggin gone. :(
I haven't filed mine yet, because it looks like we owe. Had to take some early IRA distributions to pay off some credit card debit from the layoff. Which caused us to have a bunch more income. We owe because I fucked up my projection and didn't pay enough witholding from our pay or the distribution.

Wife did taxes and we got fucked.

Wait until next year when you may be subject to AMT because the threshold is lower. Unless they make a change, the AMT exemption will be only $45,000 for a married couple. Which means that shitton more people will have to pay AMT next year.
I almost finished, but realized that I actually did use funds from my HSA so I had to stop until I found the statement from my HSA administrator, and I just haven't bothered to finish yet. I'm going to be pissed if I owe for having used the stupid thing; as of now, I owe nothing (stopped getting refunds a few years ago). I think I will try and finish tomorrow. Or Sunday. Monday for sure!
