Exactly what I was shouting at the TV.
He had on that bad spray-painted shirt that everyone gets in Florida when they're 10, the one of the caricature of them on a wave runner.
He kept bothering people, I thought he was with Vlad but he was all over Albert too.
Have you seen the reviews for it? It has been getting great reviews everywhere.
Anyway I knew this thing wasn't airing anywhere close to on time. It amazes me how ESPN heavily promotes this thing as debuting at 10pm after Home Run Derby. I was thinking to myself they must have changed the rules because the Home Run Derby is not coming close to ending at 10pm. They will say that the Derby ran long, in fact this one ran short. Last year the Derby ended at 11:22. This year it ended at 10:50 because of the low scoring rounds. The Home Run Derby is so overrated. They need to change up the rules. The batters take like 6 pitches in between every swing and not because they are out of the striking zone, they do it to catch their breathe and it slows down the pace dramatically. Plus ESPN gives stupid camera views half the time where you can't see where the ball goes. Every year I look forward to this thing, and every year 5 minutes into it I'm like Why the hell was I looking forward to this?
ESPN movies are generally terrible but most of them get shitty reviews from the begining.
Im giving this one a chance since its been getting good reviews and its about the Yankees so that gives me some interest.
So far, the splicing between real moments and the fake ones have been awful. The scene where Jackson is coming off the field with Fenway blue screened in the backround was horrid.
Oh and the acting... oofah!

Here's a photo. If you look at the photo it seems like maybe the barber thing is the truth. His shirt has a barber's pole and it says "Jordan Barber"
I don't know why or how you know that Counterpunch. But you seem right.
