I just bought a laptop on Sunday. I asked the salesman if it displayed HD video and he said it did. I get it home, hook up to Directv on PC and find nothing but a green screen when I play shows that were recorded in HD. The SD shows play fine. The audio plays on the recorded HD but no video.

I've looked around the internet to find a solution (if there is one) and can't find anything. Anyone have any ideas?

    Its a HP Pavillion dv7-6c63nr

    Thanks

You could have asked the salesperson if it cooked eggs and swallowed cum and he would have said yes if that was going to make the sale.

Run the directv scan tool and see what it says needs upgraded, my guess is the graphics card doesn't have enough ram
