You know what I love about that clip and the episode in general. No one ever mentions what's happening to MLK before that speech or what happens after he gives it.

The Boondocks rule.

I've heard plenty of good things about boondocks.

I just don't know if I can ever start another animated series again. It's a trial for me for some reason.

Dude... really? To each his own, I sez.
Eh, I just never got the humor. One kid is an intelligent stereotypical black kid and the other is a straight stereotypical punk ass nlgger. I just think its ok as a comic strip but the cartoon is just so drawn out and weak.

Fair enough sir.

I liked it because Huey was a rational kid who called shenanigans on a completely irrational racially divided world. The DA guy, one of the whitest black dudes ever, with his pretty white wife & white daughter with the fro? Uncle Ruckus, who defies any explanation at all? I loved this show and wish it had found a home on a prime time slot somewhere.

This is how I explain Uncle Ruckus. He is a self hating black person whose views on his race are a reflection of his appearance.
