I've looked at all the alternatives and they all suck. So this is my new start page. A static HTML file that sits on my HD. Fuck Google, I'll just use old fashioned book marks. I wish I could do the same with my Android phone.

I'm going to miss iGoogle too. I had it all tricked out and customized as my start page.

I used iGoogle a lot for years, but when they announced it was going away I jumped ship pretty fast.

Fucking Google is just cutting services all over the place.

I'm not going to rely on any more of their fickle services.

I was really disappointed when they dropped Google reader, but Feedly works well enough.

I'm just waiting for the day they drop Google Voice... that's going to suck.

I'm currently searching for a solution that resides on my own HD, maybe an HTML file that would stay on a cloud drive or my HD. I don't know HTML so I've been looking for a Template that I can edit.

After looking around I switched to ustart.org. It's UK based but has all you're looking for if you had I google and you can import all of your info from there. Just started with it but it works well so far.

Google+, that is your only choice in the Google universe. I just created a bunch of HTML links on my Windows Toolbar. That's my new start page, no page. I use google search logged out on IE and Firefox for Gmail and Youtube.

Youtube is nagging me to change my youtube name again, and in the proccess create a google+ account. It's only a matter time before they just go ahead and create one anyway and bundle it into a new service agreement.
