Ok so recently my Internet keeps timing out. It does it for my PC my girlfriends laptop and I usually have much slower speed on my iPhone using the wifi than with 3G and often times get the cannot open error message. I've tried unplugging the modem and router and and everything but still have the issue. An it's getting to the point now where some pages are taking 2-3 minutes to load if at all an going from one site to another is hit or miss whether or not the page will load. Any solutions?

could be a dying router or cable modem.

Id try to disconnect the router and plug the laptop directly into PC via cat5 and see how it is

if you rent your modem it never hurts to swap it out. Not sure who your provider is but w/ Comcast its very easy.

Yeah I'm gonna call AT&T and see if they can jus swap my shit out. I just thought I'd ask here first rather than deal with customer service assholes

The fact that its happening to multiple computers tells me its a connection or equipment problem.

Are you on DSL?

Yeah. It's supposed to be the fastest one they have. I've had it for about 5-6 months and it was fine up until like maybe a month ago.

Id put a trouble ticket into AT&T regardless. Could be anything from a routing issue to noise in the line to a bad modem.

Don't overlook a cabling issue. It could be a bad patch cable between your router and modem.

DSL sucks bad, do you have cable available to you? If so, ditch the DSL & go cable modem.
