I think it's kinda cool. Good for him.
I'm happy for Jamie. He'll always be a Phillie to me but I wish him luck. Its good to see him still doing well. I know he was not happy how things ended for him and Philly and wanted to prove he could make it back to the bigs.
I'd be afraid of him getting hurt too easily at that age.
At 49 he could throw a pitch and his arm could come
off and fly across the plate. Too old for my liking.
That said, I wish him good luck. He did ok when he
was here. I was at the Bank Park when he threw his last
complete game. He got a standing "O" when he came up
to bat in the 8th because everyone knew he was going the
distance in that game and was gonna win it all by himself.
I love a good very old guy/very young guy doing really well story. God speed.
