Judge Dredd: Mega-City One will be based the iconic character from Rebllion's British comic books and set in the 22nd century, where the threat of domestic terrorism and growing conflict between the rich and deprived are prevalent issues that need resolving.

IM Global Television president Mark Stern is executive producing, along with IM Global Television CEO Stuart Ford and Rebellion founders Jason and Chris Kingsley.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Judge Dredd, which was created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra in 1977. A live-action film starring Karl Urban as the titular character released in 2012 and was produced by Jason and Chris Kingsley. For our thoughts on film, read IGN's Dredd 3D review.

I hope they get Karl Urban for it and it's on paid cable or a streaming service.
