I'm going to Las Vegas from Friday-Sunday. It is my first time there other than a quick layover about 7 years ago. Can anyone give me some suggestions as to places to party, eat, fun things to do? I am most likely staying in Bellagio or Caesars.

right across the street from Caesars is O'shea's...It use to have single deck FACE UP blackjack...where the dealer won all pushes...It was great. It's now owned by Caesars though so i don't know if it's fake divey now, but it use to be an amazing cheap casino. If you like rides then check out the rides on top of the stratosphere, and the NY NY Roller coaster...DON'T take any hand outs from the mexicans..it's all escort ads...Find out if there are any conventions going on that you are interested in...I went to one once for an undisclosed non-pornographic theme and it was really cool.

Last time I went (Halloween 2007) the Palms was the best place to party. They have two bars (Ghost Bar and Moon) both near the top of each tower with a balcony extending out from the building... pretty fucking cool. Above Moon is the Playboy club, great if you want to relax and gamble a little while looking at hot women. It has it's own elevator out of Moon and I would go up there to get drinks and avoid the shitty lines at Moon. When I went $20 got you access to all three (Rain was closed, but is supposedly pretty awesome also) for the entire night.

If you're a medium-level gambler ($50/hand minimum) and stay at Caesar's they have PussyCat Doll tables right out on the casino floor and it's pretty cool to sit out there and watch women dance in cages and deal to you wearing lingerie.

If you've never been In-N-Out burgers is worth the cab ride.

I was on a budget of like $3 grand (for everything including plain and hotel) so I didn't go crazy, but still found some cool shit to do.

Hugo's Cellar at the 4 Queens. The chef there is a friend of my wifes and his food is beyond good. It's a bit pricey, but worth it.

I was there last year.... Hit all 4 of those clubs up. Amazing night.

For food we hit up this amazing Indian Restaurant in the Rio. I was drunk 72 straight hours, so I don't know the name.

I was just there 2 weeks ago on my honeymoon. My wife and I loved PBR Rockbar at Planet Hollywood. There is an absolutely gorgeous casino that is brand new called The Cosmopolitan worth checking out. Avoid timeshare people like a disease.
