Asians take care of themselves, so they need not apply for victimhood status.

But they will if it's monetarily advantageous to them.
Which probably won’t happen. Asians have much less political value to the left than the groups they already champion. They’re about a half a degree from white to them,

Strange how the MSM never picked up on this. It took a bunch of Youtubers to shine the light on the Social Justice Democrats. (Communists).

I'll bet she got a grant to start her doomed ass children's book business. Like some sort of female hispanic entrepreneur grant.

I saw an article that said she started her publishing business with "$1000 of her own money", and that was her attempt to make herself look like she was starting from humble beginnings, and betting on herself, and pulling herself up by her bootstraps, but that's just stupid. $1000 isn't going to start up any business more complex than a lemonade stand. In NYC, a thousand bucks won't start you a hotdog cart business, and that's not even a joke.

I highly doubt she got a small business loan. She didn't have a pot to piss in as far as collateral, and no loan officer would've done anything but laugh at her business plan which was probably crayon on construction paper with the "I's" dotted with hearts and smiley faces. Children's books are notorious as a product that's nearly impossible to turn a profit on. The big publishers will throw out a hundred money-loser kid's books in the hopes of having just a single Goodnight Moon to offset the losses of the other 99 flops. A "startup children's book publisher" business... that's basically the definition of a doomed-to-failure business.

I'll bet she got 10 of thousands of dollars worth of federal grant money that she quickly pissed away with absolutely nothing to show for it.

In other words, the "Microfinance Practitioner" was herself just one more example of the failure of the "microloan" folly.

I’m fairly certain that establishing a hot dog cart in NYC will easily run in to 6 figures. Getting those kinds of licenses are ridiculously expensive. Look at taxi medallions, the offer get auctioned off into high 6 or even 7 figures.

Also, the children’s publishing market has got to be in the top 5 of “how hard can it be?” Ventures. Right up there with event planning, interior design or cupcakes.

First thing you’re taught at any reputable business school is that skill/a great idea only weighs 5% towards actual success*

*ok, I made that up, but I believe there’s clear truth to that.

Odds she had no clue who this guy was...

And odds she almost blurted out "Oh, it's George Bush!"...
I hate the fact that I’m put into this position, but I’m at the point where any “expert” that publically identifies with a political side is essentially dead to me. If you’re going to espouse anything that may impact policy or significant opinion, you must at least in public be politically neutral. Because a guy like Bill Nye the Mechanical Engineer actually influences people and he he’s clearly shown he’s a leftist first, rather than an objective.

Look at economics. Has Paul Krugman who is a leftist before an objective ever admitted his predictions in the wake of Trump has been wrong so far? Is he crediting Obama for the good economy even after two years of Trump. If that’s the case, I guess trump wasn’t as much of a danger than he feared.

I've never heard of changing brake fluid, and it's not easy.
Scan tools will bleed brakes without anyone in the vehicle today. I'm certain you could just run it longer and just keep fluid topped off.

Also brake fluid draws moister so it should be bled on anything that's sits often like motorcycles and side by side.

For the longest time I couldn't figure out the librard obsession with Bill Nye. But, it's simple. He's a useful idiot who they seem to think has some kind of scientific credibility, but buys into all of their bullshit hook, line, and sinker, then will parrot it for them in front of any camera.

His selling out to the loonie left is sad, and it's painful to watch. He directly contradicts almost everything he presented as "scientific fact" not even a decade ago.

Were you lying then, or are you lying now, Bill?

He also had a very popular kids show 20-some odd years ago. So ill-informed 20 and 30 year olds can go, "I grew up watching that guy!" and can brag about how much science they learned from him to other ill-informed people in their generation and more importantly, to their stupid, impressionable kids.

Had he hosted a science show in the 90s for baby boomers, the left would have a harder time using him to push climate change and you'd probably never hear from him again. I'd love to see if and how much this guy makes off of pushing climate change...speaking engagements, etc.

I wonder where Mr. Wizard would fall if he were alive today....

Had a discussion with my friends about him recently. Unfortunately, I'm thinking he'd fall lockstep behind the liberal agenda, and any attempt to stray from the collective would probably get him branded as a pedophile or something due to his working onscreen with children.

But he definitely holds the cred over Bill Nye.

So what's an undignified job?

Right up until she gets mugged... and someone takes her unsecured sailfoam with tit pics on it.

Yaaay for this

You commitment... good one...

Gonna guess he had a few priors... and ayup:

In 1985, at the age of 17, Winslow was convicted of simple burglary and sentenced to three years. In 1994, at 26, he was charged with the same, this time given 8½ years. In 2004, he was arrested for possession of cocaine, landing him 18 more months in prison. Multiple felonies left Winslow moneyless, jobless, and ineligible for food stamps (those with drug felonies are permanently banned from applying).

So what's an undignified job?
According to Polish feminists, factory jobs or tailoring are undignified jobs. It's better to go whore. That's not a joke, one of the leaders of the feminist movement said so.

By the way: I come from a country with "free" state-owned colleges and state-funded medicare. If it's accessible to everybody and only paid by some, it is bound to be shitty. There is no way around. A state college professor's wage (and I mean a proper professor, not a "mere" teacher with phd) is a bit above 4K PLN, which is about 1200 USD per month. Private universities offer them way more money, so of course the state owned schools are getting worse and worse and only teachers who aren't good enough to find jobs at private schools teach there. Kids who cannot afford private schools are left with degrees from schools nobody takes seriously. Not sure this was the intention of socialism, but this is what happens. So beware. In medicare - all's good until you need a specialist (and I mean like basic care specialist, so eye doctors, dentists, laryngologists, gynos), because if you need a visit, you have to wait for months or years, so if you need it right away, you need a private visit and it won't be paid by your state-owned insurance. And also if you have MS or some other rare diseases, you're on your own, the state doesn't fund MS treatments.
