around november 2010, ant was saying that he went through a bunch of hoops to be able to do the LFTC show .. the exceptions were he had to promote the O&A show and wasnt allowed to talk about LFTC on xm, well im listening to yesterdays show with tom green, and he played a clip from LFTC, is this the first time he played audio from it on the show?

Probably not but they arent played more because most of the LFTC drunk ramblings arent worth bringing to the regular show.

...cause this is the home stretch for the show on satellite. They just don't care.

I believe Ant once said that he's been doing it, and they haven't said anything, so he is just going to continue to do it. The problem was asking in the first place.

Wouldn't be surprised if he asked Bob to rework his contract adding language about side-projects such as this. If you noticed, LFTC was kind of not happening before October 2010.

Exactly.

Especially with PT Howie not bringing his A game. The suits realize they need to keep O&A or suffer a massive loss of subs.

SiriusSM would be able to deal with the loss of revenue from O&A, however I'm willing to bet that the O&A channel is one of the most profitable on the entire network.

Trust me, O&A will resign with SiriusXM
Nothing to do with the LFTC talk but i was listening to a show from 2007 with louie and they discuss the merger and play a short howie clip, and pretty much predict how they're going to be treated saying that they would rather leave than be treated like that, funny since they took their last deal

Jump to 2:22:40ish just before the howard talk they play the sparkling wiggles clip

Last contract they had no leverage during contract negotiations.

Hence, why Opie was licking Mark Cubans' asshole for a slot on HD Net.

Well its going to be a fun few months of listening to 'im outta here, im not signing shit' all over again

and stupid little nothing comments like 'i hope that thing with ....... works out' thrown in like the other day there

Howards contract was for 5 year was it not? wouldnt it be more sensible to push the likes of Ellis?(which they do seem to be doing as hes on fuck knows howmany channels) i dont like the guy but with OnA being put to the side and doing nothing other than stamping their feet and complaining and getting no-where, it doesnt seem like they're wanted at the company or being kept incase Howard finally fucks off

Now I'm not so sure of that, especially with them bemoaning how Steven Singer is the only major sponsor on the entire network that's willing to sponsor contests. Well, him and Trojan.

On the topic of LFTC whats to stop them doing a super bowl show from ants place? is there anything that says they arent allowed or would they simply not want to?

Ellis reminds me of WNEW era O&A.

I have no doubt that they re-sign months before the contract is up and just milk it because it is that or Ant's political rants or Bobo

He might not want to get sued for rebroadcasting the game. The party would be fine but if he simulcast like he has done for Yankee playoff games he most likely would be facing some hefty fines.

You think O&A have massive amounts of subs?
What is massive in your opinion
