    Yes, you do.

I'd rather give 10 bucks to a great comic than to a starving parentless kid in Indonesia (some charity), who just got pulled out of the ocean by a trawler yesterday.

Fuck the little asshole, I like the comedy better.

Fuck middlemen. I will ABSOLUTELY be buying this, not only because I love Louis' comedy, but also because I like supporting business ventures such as this. I know that I'll be getting 100% of Louis' vision, with no other considerations involved.

Wholeheartedly agree. $5 to support my favorite comic, get new material, and do my part to ensure this happens again?

Happily paid my coin and am downloading it now.

Anyone got a quick review yet? I'm going to buy it anyway but I just wonder what people think. Where it stands among his other work and so on.

Ummm...if you listen to the announcement in the beginning, you're not supposed to watch it. :action-sm

I watched the first 10 minutes but am going to wait to watch the rest with my wife tonight. I liked the opening where he's just walking into the theater catching all the fans by surprise. His take on the texting and twitttering, and his "sample size" observations were classic Louis.

I thought it was some of his best work yet. I laughed aloud a few times. He's so smart. Similar to Carlin, but more brutal. Well worth $5.00.

It's pretty consistent with what you'd expect from a proper Louis CK special. My observations:
    • Even though it's a cheap download, it's produced and filmed great and looks as good as any of his past specials.
    • The video quality is excellent, crisp, clear, pretty much Blu-Ray quality.
    • It's a tighter edit than Hilarious, with better pacing. Runs just over an hour.
    • It deals with a lot of the same kinds of topics as the last few specials
    • It might not be as dark as past specials.

Pretty much a steal at $5. I'd rank it above Hilarious, but behind Chewed Up and Shameless, fits right in with the Louis CK canon. Really pretty hard to argue with.

Louie has this shit figured out. It's maxing out my shitty Road Runner connection (about 15 minutes to download 1.2 gig), and the picture quality is outstanding. I would buy way more crap legitimately if it was all this easy.

Part of what's cool about this is that it lets him get shit out quicker, which matters when you're talking about a guy as prolific as Louie. Hilarious was recorded 20 months before it came out. This was recorded 1 month ago. And it's not like Hilarious looks any more polished or professional either. This is just as good.

I do like physical media though for comedy, maybe because I like to get as much of my stuff signed as possible. I have signed discs from almost all my favorite comics except except the guys who died before I started doing that. I still have to get Chris Rock, but I can probably catch him next time he does his secret shows at the Stress Factory (allegedly this spring).

What's that jazzy song in the beginning of the intro?
    Sounds kinda like Idris Muhammad

I love the Monty Pythonesque intros.

    Sadly, nothing about Llamas.

It's original music by the same band that scores Louie.

Looks like Louis C.K. will also be taking questions from fans on Reddit Monday.

He's got this internet marketing thing figured out. Hope he makes a ton from it, because he's worth it.

i dropped it onto a dvd as a data disc and watched it on my ps3
it looks really good, the music and editing feels like and episode of louis, which is to say it looks very good and the material was typical louis ck, very funny; brutal and hilarious
totally worth $5, i'll buy it every time he puts something out this way
