The original was fun for what it was, the sequel felt rushed and slapped together. This looks like it has potential to be better than part 2, but that's really not saying much. I'll probably catch it on FX in 3 years.

I don't care what anyone says. I will be seeing this in the theater. It will be shit and I will love it for being shit.

I gotta say, young Tommy Lee Jones is quite the likeness.

I was really surprised at how much I liked the first one. Second one, not so much. Now, K has been dead for 40 years? What the hell?

My guess:

K went back in time and died, or somehow affected his past and got his young self killed. Will Smiff has to go back and save him.

If they don't make it so tongue and cheek over the top with the humor like in part 2 it will be atleast as good as the first. I liked the first but 2.....ball-chinein....Really?

The trailer looks to have toned down to the comedy of the first so I will give it a go... on netflix.

I have to admit, I got a hearty chuckle out of this exchange:

"I promised you the secrets of the Universe, nothing more."
"Uh...what other secrets are there?"

Nice and subtle, not over the top like the second, perfectly acceptable. Like it should be.

Didn't they have to change the ending of the second one because it involved The World Trade Center, hence why it seemed rushed and short?

The only thing cool about MiB is the ride at Universal in Orlando. My little brother-in-law gets the high score every time we go.

i wonder if david cross will make an appearance in this one too
Love how he died in the first one and then came back as a completely different character.

He'll definitely be in this one if he's not busy making another Alvin & The Chipmunks movie

Watching the original on HBO Family. Forgot how good it was.

"We're not hosting an intergalactic kegger" still makes me laugh.
