Definitely going to watch this later. Wonder why they didn't play it in order.

I guess this is a bad thing, but I always thought Escape was a pretty good song.

What was the other song they've never played that the fans were calling for?

I was down at Orion this weekend. That was my first time seeing Metallica live and it was easily the best show I've seen so far. Gonna be hard to top that one for a while. Shit was amazing. Call of Ktulu, Creeping Death, and One at the end gave me fucking goosebumps. Only downside is that it might have gotten a little douchey when James was leading the crowd chants in the middle of Enter Sandman.

That show was on Saturday...they played the Black Album on Sunday.
    Setlist:
    Hit the Lights
    Master of Puppets
    Fuel
    For Whom the Bell Tolls
    The Shortest Straw

    The Struggle Within
    My Friend of Misery
    The God That Failed
    Of Wolf and Man
    Nothing Else Matters
    Through the Never
    Don't Tread on Me
    Wherever I May Roam
    The Unforgiven
    Holier Than Thou
    Sad But True
    Enter Sandman

    Encore:
    Blackened
    One
    Seek & Destroy
Rest of the festival was pretty sweet too. Kirk had all his horror movie collectibles on display, James organized a custom car show, Lars had an independent film tent, and Rob was skating with his brothers on a mini-ramp that Vans had set up.

A lot of different acts. Highlights for me were Gaslight Anthem, The Sword, Gary Clark Jr, The Black Angels, and Sepultura. Fucked Up and Arctic Monkeys sounded pretty solid as well.

I was in AC last night, saw that advertised. Tickets were pretty much impossible to get, I'd bet.

Damn, been about five years since I seen a Metallica show. Too fucking long.

Where was this stage set up? You can see the Boardwalk casinos AND the Marina.

Bader Field. Seemed like the perfect place to set it up, it was massive.

Not a Metallica fan, but they seem to put on a good show. And they play the hits.
