I am running some admin software for work and I have gotten this error :

error '80040111'

ClassFactory cannot supply requested class

/eManager/main/eManager/app/NeM_Initialization.asp, line 16

----

I have Googled it and checked Microsofts Db. It is definitely a Microsoft error, not an error of the admin software.

Here is what I found on the Microsoft support page :
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/279129

Which basically tells me nothing. :(

Here is what I found on aspfaq.com :
http://classicasp.aspfaq.com/components/why-do-i-get-80040111-errors.html

Which helps a little, but I am not well enough versed in Windows to diagnose/troubleshoot this any further.

Any help for how I can change anything Windows (i.e. - registry, COM, Script, etc.) to resolve this would be appreciated.

For the admin software page, or for the Microsoft support page?
For the admin software page.

Seems like its an ASP programming error..

Do you get the same error when you use it on another computer?

That'll never happen. All the admin software we run is Windows proprietary, always has been and always will be. Thx tho, I've suggested it multiple times.

Nope, but that's because this is the first computer it has been installed on. My laptop is the test monkey.

i would say its probably a configuration error. Talk to your server admin.

Look at line 16 in the NeM_Initialization.asp file - see what its trying to do.
