So I got my mini cooper today and I love it!! It's green with a black top, :icon_mrgr

I still have to get used to the stick, I stalled out twice on the way home. And now I'm getting ready for the DKM concert in Lowell.

Woohoo!!!

I don't mind Mini Coopers, but I am like 6' 250 so I am not sure how well I would fit in one.

Cool car. Little cars scare me though, after the tragic death of someone close to my family. Plus, I am 5'11, 250 lbs. I'm sticking with trucks/vans. But, it would be a cool car to run around LBI or someplace similar. Good luck with it.

If I remember correctly, Mini Cooper had one of the best gorilla marketing campaigns, something to do about a urban legend involving robots spread across the Internet.

I was surprised at how roomy they are on the inside. Still a rolling coffin, IMO.

I always wanted one but was concerned about the safety. Not that my Echo is any better. And you're right Ciarin, Echos suck in the snow.

for a small car they seem pretty solid. Friend has one that has the supercharger in it. Fun little car.

mini's are pretty safe. They got a lot of shit set up so you don't get yourself in a wreck, AND in case you do get in a wreck there are 6 airbags and fuel cut-off switch. My insurance went up only $30 when I got it. ;)

And yea, big guys can fit in to it. I drove a coworker to his car the other night, and he's 6'4" 250lbs. The only problem for tall people is getting in and out of the car cause it's so low to the ground.

Six air bags!!! Is there any room left in the greenhouse of that car if they all go off? It will look like that car Stallone crashed in Demolition Man.

Good luck with the new car. And remember, if you can't find them, grind them.

If you are going to get a convertible mini, get two of them, this way you can strap one on each foot and rollerskate everywhere.
