Mohegan Sun Tailgating Alternatives

Just curious what the plan is for most of you going to Mohegan Sun on Saturday. While Mohegan does have a huge outdoor parking lot it is mostly for vans and trailers, most parking is done in the garages which suck for tailgating. I plan on going to the sportsbook and betting horses all day and then pre gaming it at the DUBLINER BAR
http://www.mohegansun.com/common/dubliner.jsp?s=entertainment which is a great place to party beforehand. Anyone doing anything different then gambling?

I highly doubt Mohegan will allow you to tailgate in their parking lot ...it's a casino . I will be there with the wife and we will be at the Dubliner about 4pm getting primed for the show ....I cant wait !

I may stop by the bar beforehand, I know Ive heard the nightclub in there is pretty kickass, hoping to stop by there AFTER the show... I will be sneaking up to my suite for beer as much as possible though :D

I heard one of the only shows they allow tailgating in the parking lots is for Buffet, part of his deal to play there. We'll be at Ultra 88 after the show, and like Cara said, prob hitting a few bars in the place beforehand

Even though there is no O and A Village and I don't have a ticket for the show, I plan oin visiting the casino to check it out anyway. I'll be around, no matter what is going on!

Anybody staying at Econo Lodge in Groton? Can I appeal to the pests to keep it down so I can prove to my wife that O&A fans are not (all) savages! :D

Yes, Mohegan Sun would be next to impossible for a full-fledged tailgate.

plan on going to the dubliner b4 the show, some gambling, maybe the nightclub and then filling up the hotel room with alcohol, since that awful rule of no drinking after 1:30 @ Mohegan is highly inforced

i have a question... How long is each comedian's set? Not that I'll be at the Mohegian Sun Stop, but I'm thinking about heading to the Philly/Camden one...

A bunch of us will be partying at Lucky's before the show. I'm getting there around 3 (maybe even a little earlier). Its a really big bar, with lots of room, and a good spot for the pre-party and yes, its in the Mohegan (second floor i think? between the two casinos?)

Everyone is welcome to come hang out.

Also, we were thinking about hitting up leffingwells after the show. Hope you all come hang. :)

Maybe for New England standards. :puke: GOD what was that place in NEW Haven that was suppose to rule the TOAD?????
The nightclub (ULTRA 88) doesn't kick ass at all...The DJs they pull in stink...case in point...DJ Scribble was there a few weeks back...they play it safe...Its not on par or even close to a Vegas level club...The rest of Mohegan destroys...but the club is their weak spot.

Ahhh... Toad's Place. Stumbled outta there twice a week for an entire year. Back in the day. What a great dirtbag bar.

Toad's has been shut down all summer for serving minors.
