XM chart looks identical to Sirius from noon on yesterday.

So do most stocks.

Huh? Its the exact opposite. In a merger situation the acquiring company's stock always goes down as a result of future dilution and shortselling.

The way a trader makes money off any merger is to Short the acquiring company (SIRI) while simultaneously buying stock in the target of the merger (XMSR).
