no thank you.
They should go black with it.
I remember reading several years back that the Wayans Brothers got ahold of the property.
Can't remember a thing from my childhood but can remember this:
Cal it the "redundancy hour"....
Not sure what to say. Anything could work with the right people behind it. The problem is that those people either don't exist, or are too busy with other successful products to make the time for it.
Bryan Fuller, the guy behind Pushing Daisies, etc. is developing the project. It's supposed to be something like an hour long drama series rather than slapstick and shenanigans.
Here's a random article on it:
or you could also check out this one because it's better:
Didn't the already attempt this in the late 80s? I would love if this whole re-boot/remake trend would die before I do.
If the Wayans Brothers are doing it, it's ok to call it Munsters. If a white director was doing it, it would be called The Munstas. Ok we get it.
Bryan Fuller is a very talented writer with absolutely no skill at being able to sustain a show. His ideas always run out of steam after like six episodes (Wonderfalls, Pushing Daisies).
He's either great in the room or is a giant queen that the gay mafia fully supports.
I don't think Wonderfalls or Pushing Daisies fell apart. They were both quirky shows that I enjoyed to their ends. He also was a critical part of the only watchable part of Heroes.
is it going to be a gritty reboot?
Jerry O'Connell cast as Herman Munster in NBC's 'Mockingbird Lane'
I thought they would have gone with Raymonds TV brother.
Same here. He also did Dead Like Me. I've learned to give everything he does a shot.
Fuller's also doing the Lecter series which cast Mads Mikelsen as Lecter. I wonder if he's too sweetly quirky for that type of show.
