New laptop. Ran the McAfee trial for a month and now time to get rid of it. Previously liked Kaspersky, but open to other options. Looking for mine and the wife's computer. both running Windows 8.

What do you guys use?

Need it to use little system resources, so Norton is a big no

Microsoft security essentials with the paid version of Malwarebytes.

Never had an issue and the paid version of Malwarebytes is totally worth it.

I use Bitdefender Security Suite. Never had a problem and it isn't hard on the resources.

Ive been using the same the last few years. I decided to go with them as they give you x3 licenses for three different PCs.

I use the free version of AVG and don't have any problems. I used to use Webroot, but I got sick of paying every year. I had no problems with that either.

I use the free version of Avast. No need to pay if you don't want.
