After Dropkick Murphys bass player/singer Ken Casey made it abundantly clear that neo-Nazisare "not fucking welcome"at his band's concerts, the neo-Nazis are apparentlyresponding in kind.

Late last week, the band posted a screenshotto its official Twitter account showing one of several threatening emails they've received since Casey and others forcibly removed a sieg heil-ing skinhead from the stage during a St. Patrick's Day concert, warning them not to perform in Australia or risk the wrath of local neo-Nazis "who would love to kick your ass."
As part of a recently announced series of concerts, the Dropkick Murphys are set to make several stops in Australia starting this Saturday.
The band has yet to officially address the Terminal 5 altercation, but has also made no indication that it plans to shore up security given the threats it's received in the altercation's aftermath.

Shouldn't a neo-Nazi know how to spell "Zionists"?

I think it'd be a good fight between Aussie neo-nazis and Irish/Scottish skins from Boston.

Can't agree more. 2nd album was a good incorporation of slightly more nontraditional punk instruments. After that, if I want to listen to the Pogues or Shane McGowan, I'll just put them on.

I would guess 100%. Probably because It is a religion, not an ethnic group.
Advanced genetic testing, including Y-DNA and mtDNA haplotyping, of modern Jewish communities around the world, has helped to determine which of the communities are likely to descend from the Israelites and which are not, as well as to establish the degrees of separation between the groups. Important studies archived here include the University College London study of 2002, Ariella Oppenheim's study of 2001, Ariella Oppenheim's study of 2000, Michael Hammer's study of 2000, Doron Behar's study of 2008, Steven Bray's study of 2010, and others.
Key findings:
  • The main ethnic element of Ashkenazim (German and Eastern European Jews), Sephardim (Spanish and Portuguese Jews), Mizrakhim (Middle Eastern Jews), Juhurim (Mountain Jews of the Caucasus), Italqim (Italian Jews), and most other modern Jewish populations of the world is Israelite. The Israelite haplotypes fall into Y-DNA haplogroups J and E.
Palestinian Arabs are probably partly Israelite.
  • Ashkenazim also descend, in a smaller way, from European peoples from the northern Mediterranean region and even less from Slavs and Khazars. The non-Israelite Y-DNA haplogroups include Q1b1a (typically Central Asian) and R1a1 (typically Eastern European but the most common Ashkenazic variant comes from somewhere in Asia, probably Central Asia).
  • Dutch Jews from the Netherlands also descend from northwestern Europeans.
  • Sephardim also descend, in a smaller way, from various non-Israelite peoples.
  • Georgian Jews (Gruzinim) are a mix of Georgians and Israelites.
  • Yemenite Jews (Temanim) are a mix of Yemenite Arabs and Israelites.
  • Moroccan Jews, Algerian Jews, and Tunisian Jews are mainly Israelites.
  • Libyan Jews are mainly Israelites who may have mixed somewhat with Berbers.
  • Ethiopian Jews are almost exclusively Ethiopian, with little or no Israelite ancestry.
  • Bene Israel Jews and Cochin Jews of India have much Indian ancestry in their mtDNA.

My Grandfather fought in the IRA, way back in the day. Spent some time in a POW camp for his efforts, too. Participated in huger strikes while in prison. Fun stuff.

Not surprising. 2,000 years in exile goes a long way in diluting bloodlines. I know people who are like 8 generation Israeli from like way before there was even an Israel, and they probably have more "original" Jewish blood in them than I do. It's more about geography than anything. The closer you were to the place you were originally, the more likely you are to retain the genetics of the people of that region.

This is mostly a semantic problem. You could say that most modern Jews do not retain the same genetic characteristics of biblical era Jews, which is easily explained by a couple of thousand years in the diaspora. Plus people convert and whatnot. And pogroms.
