I am looking at buying a new 2008 Vulcan 900 Custom. I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with this motorcycle. Also if anyone has any suggestions on other bikes I gladly will take any advice. I just want to find a good motorcycle for less than $11,000.

i ve been looking at triumphs for the last 6 years, eventually i will get one, i have a 1970 Bonneville but its more of a collectors piece now than a mode of transportation. i dont have a garage, so i store all my toys in the basement, quite frankly its a pain in the ass to get them in and out so i haven't ridden regularly for 8 or 9 years. im waiting for gas to hit 4$ a gallon and i will get a new bike, i have an almost perfect commute for a motor cycle, at that point i will probably end up getting a sport tourer, i hate to admit it but im getting a little old for a real sport bike, ive also toyed with the idea of getting a Vrod just because you can pick them up cheep

Yeah that is why I really am getting a bike, I have a big ass truck and the 12mpg on the highway kills me. So for driving back and forth to college a motorcycle is the answer. But what kind of vrod are you looking at?

Nice bike Fez Man, reminds me of my old mans BSA 650 twin that he has been 'restoring' for the last 30 years. You should blow the cobwebs off that thing and take it out for a run. Nothing beats the sound of a classic British bike.

Here's my jap cruiser, it's a Suzuki
M50. I think I got it for $7500 with the cobra pipes and lowering kit.

there's a little more too it than blowing the cob webs off, the cylinder head is leaking around the exhaust port, were the pipe screws into the head, it still runs great but i just dont want to ride it too much till i get that taken care of, its kind of funny that i build shit for others every day yet dont have the time or money to fix my own. i have to decide weather or not to build what i want, with that bike or restore it to oe condition, im leaning towards building what i want

My ride (of course not actual pic). I have been riding less and less recently as Las Vegas traffic and drivers have become insane.

I have looked seriously at the Boulevard, and I like them. Does anyone know anything about the United Motors bikes?

I like the Suzuki's. A friend of mine bought the M109R cruiser. Enough torque to pull your arms out of their sockets. Runs the 1/4 mile with 600cc sportbikes. Looks fucking sweet, too.

I had a Kawasaki ZX-10R prior to my accident that cracked the frame in 2 spots. Great Super sport bike. Bikes like that usually have a range of 200-250 miles a tank. It's pretty sad it takes almost $20 to fill a bike now. Long gone are the days of $5 fill-ups.
