Steve cooks good.

Don't make a maniac outta me.

Do I need to post the picture of their waitresses from Oktoberfest for motivation?

Sounds like fun, but I'm not driving on New Year's Eve unless there's a pre or post Jimmy show party somewhere on Long Island.

Is F.H. Rileys doing anything New Years Eve (sorry to hijack the thread Kim - maybe this'll wake up the Long Islanders to start their own thread)

Kris, get out of my thread, bitch!!! :action-sm

I do believe Jimmy mentioned that he would be going to FH Riley's for dinner after his show. And I totally don't blame you for wanting to stay close to home.

Roman, please do. I didn't take any with my own camera. :)

Opie mentioned on air the other day they were keeping the restaurant open after Jimmy's show for anyone who wanted to come by including for the 'lil fella. I actually already have reservations for dinner with a friend BEFORE the show, so I'll be there before it gets too crowded. We have yet to determine if we'll be going back afterwards.

Getting back on topic, this Basil T's place sounds great. I wish these cool restaurants (aside from F.H. of course) were closer! You'd see me at a lot more events/gatherings. Then again, maybe that's the point ;)

I've been out of town and have been stuck with terrestrial radio all week. I could've stayed in the condo all week to listen to the show, but that wouldn't have been much of a vacation.

I'll have to check into F.H. Riley's for New Year's Eve. Hopefully my loser friends will want to go, otherwise I might just fly solo.

I agree with Melissa..it would be great if Basil T's and Rivoli's were closer to us.

For future reference: If you need a place to stay, there are hotels in the area. There's a Howard Johnson's and a Holiday Inn not too far away.

Basil T's is not that far from Rivoli's, so you could do an over-night. Eat & drink at Basils one night, and hit Rivoli's before heading home the next day. ;)

And now that you're home, about starting your own thread, huh? :action-sm

Totally understand. I'm not sure if they're planning a New Year's Eve party per se, but they will be open that much I know.

Hey! That's my idea. :)

BTW, there's no shortage of hotels in Toms River. Next closet besides the two mentioned is a Best Western - if the other places are booked. Plenty of others ones on Routes 37 or 70 also.

I have to check things over with the wife as far as our New Year's plans... I'm off from work. I gotta be on-call for Christmas Eve/Day. But, I am completely off for New Year's Eve/Day.

Just a reminder to let me know if you're coming down for dinner (and what time). If we have a big enough group, Steve will seat us in the private room. :)

I wish I could make it but the wife has to work New Year's, so I have to stay local...

Another time I guess. The menu looks good.
