Literally every story I read about New York makes me hate it more and more.
That's pretty much every big city in the US any more.
One of the largest state gubbmints. Yep.
I agree with BB.
Change thread title to "Politicians stink!"
It has a great punk sce- Oh wait. No it doesn't. They drove all of the interesting people off Manhattan.
I don't know how common corruption in New York politics is. We should ask the mayor who changed political parties and gave millions of dollars to get term limits lifted how common he thinks it is.
Corruption has been around NYC since the revolution. 100 years ago almost 80 percent of the NYPD took bribes. The mayors office down to the lowly beat patrolman was corrupt.
It only costs $1,000,000,000 to become president. That's what it costs to keep the federal government corruption-free though. Hopefully you paid your taxes, you do want to remain free don't you? That's a good boy.
Whatever it takes to keep you out.
Now we know why there's a Conservative Party in New York.
