Oh...did someone finally tell ESPN that the lockout is over?
please let it be better than ESPN's coverage of Nascar
Anything is better than Versus.
Well Rusty won't be doing it so there should be a definite improvement.
true, but we'll get ol' Melrose, is that any better???
i get and like melrose but i love seeing NHL2night back which Buccigross. He is a huge hockey fan. on top of that it will be nice to hear gary thorne again. Also i am all for the NHL network. with a league that has such a rich history of great games, i for one would love to watch some of the old Gordie Howe games or the 1980 Oilers. Christ they can show some Don Cherry Rock'em Sock'em videos.
Same... I can't wait for the NHL Network. And if it wasn't for my overnight hours, I'd have signed up for Center Ice. (Although I may still do it this year for the weekend games.)
I didn't know that there is an NHL Network in the offing...too fucking bad Cablevision won't carry that either. If I had the NFL & NHL Networks I don't think I'd watch much of anything else
Now the ratings will go back up to 0.1 instead of -84 on VS.
Games on ESPN would be great, if only because of the HD factor.
If the NHL Network games are offered on my system (Time Warner) in HD then I wont hesitate to subscribe.
Aint that the truth
Bout fucking time. Want people to watch the sport? Put it on a channel people get.
The NHL Network is own by TSN in Canada. It is right now only availible north of the border. When I was in Canada for some hockey games last season it was amazing. I hope cable and satellite systems wake up and get it here in the states. I would also hope they would broadcast hockey night in canada on it and see what a real hockey broadcast is like. The NHL must and I mean MUST go back on ESPN.
lol sadly true
I think the term "the four major sports" is dead
unless you put nascar in at #4
