    WOW, I rented this one because I remembered seeing it as a kid when I read the title, I remembered it as a cool movie. IT DID NOT HOLD UP, Rent if you dare. 1984 in all its glory.

    That movie scared me as a kid. I agree about it not holding up. What were the guy's initials in the arcade game? It was a great concept and actually would probably improve with a remake.

    Meh, I recently saw it myself, and I still enjoyed it. Different reasons, of course. When I first saw it in the 80's it was cool, now it's so much cheese. But I love cheese!

    Night of the Comet was one of my go to movies when I was growing up. I haven't seen it in years though. I may have to give it a watch and see if it will be one of those "what the hell was I thinking" movies.

    i saw it a bunch of times. The only thing I can remember is 2 hot babes (maybe only 1 was hot) and that they should have had UZI's

    I actually bought it in the $5 bin based on my memories of it when I was a kid. It doesn't hold up in the slightest. I felt the same way when I recently re-watched "Solarbabies" on Netflix. It just makes me realize that I had horrible taste as a child.

    it's not horrible taste....that's what was there to watch...It was what hollywood was putting out and you had no reference...music and clothes are the same way...

    I loved Night of the Comet...It really freaked me out...That and that tv movie about nuclear war that was on in like 1983....The Day After....
