Since when has porn ever been allowed on FB? Way back in the late early days of FB this girl I knew posted a pic of another chick. It was down quick. I never got the story as to why she did it. I assumed her BF was banging the board and she found out.

Can someone explain why Zuckerburg is selling so much Facebook stock? It looks like he has sold over 150 mil in the last couple of weeks. I know you have to announce you are selling shares in advance but it seems odd he has sold so much in the last 6 months. Maybe this is normal but if he were going to sell, the stock was over 200 dollars for quite some time and he did not sell this much. Worried about lawsuits maybe. Anyway just curious.

I know alot of people that have left. I used to post often, but with the security concerns and the fact they track everything...I'm getting the hell out of there. I downloaded all of my data and have been just deleting old posts. They send you that "On this day" memory thing, and I just go through it and delete all of my old stuff.

Granted, deleting is pretty much pointless, but at least people I'm connected with now see a more restricted profile.

And of course, I've got friends and family members who are all like, "what's going on with your Facebook? Did you leave? You better not! Why did your wife close her account? Why don't you post anymore? I can't see your albums!" And I've been unfriending a whole bunch of people too. Why am I friends with the kid that was in my 9th grade biology class that I spoke to maybe 4 times? Ponderous.

It bugs my wife because that's how we got involved but I just couldn't stand it anymore. Creepy ads that know what I've talked about, bitching friends, humorless posts, and Zuckerberg's unwillingness to give you control of your timeline.

It's hard tell what they are doing exactly because they sometimes have stock options with set times. Use it or lose it, and that could mean millions in profits with all his shares. I guarantee whatever he's selling it's a drop bucket. Amazon's Jeff Bozos would periodically sell off a billion in stock to finance his Space Launch Company. It sounds like a lot but when you have a net worth over a 50 billion any transaction under 1 billion is peanuts.

Absolutely. My wife is trying to get me on snapchat, and I'm like, I don't need to replace a social media network with another social media network. It's just a waste of time. 10 years ago when I was in my 20s...it sounded like a really cool idea of connecting with others and keeping in touch. Now as I get older, I just don't give a shit about people I've known over the course of my life that have zero effect on my life now. Why do I need to see your snotty kids? Why do you need to see mine?

And now all of my nieces and nephews are at that age where they're joining and friending me, so now I can't be an asshole on there. But if I deny their request or leave Facebook, I'm Mr. Antisocial. I've even had employees of mine sending me friend requests and I'm like, oh hell no.

Fuck that. I am mr antisocial as I do not participate on any social media. I have nieces and nephews that bug me to go on(well not anymore). I told them that shit is a waste of time and if you want to speak to me or see a pic, you have my cell number. I guess once my kids are on there I will be forced to open an account.

It was great when I first had it. Nothing but posts from friends and family. Then Facebook had to get in bed with every organization and start selling your personal shit. Nothing but ads now and everyone pushing their opinions. I longer for the days someone would post a baby picture just to break the monotony of Jesus and political posts.

I totally understand and I wish I never got started on social media. But I posted and shared and commented for years and theres no master delete button that will wipe (what....like with a cloth?) out everything.

While I don't give a shit about Facebook, I'm the opposite with Twitter. I dont know what it is, I have to scroll through every tweet. And God help me if I miss a bit of information somewhere. Trump tweeted, gotta read it. Hockey trade rumors? I need to know. Hockey and politics....that's pretty much my Twitter feed.

Dumb millenials will never know what life was like in the 80s when you actually had a TV and newspaper for information and a phone or face to face for communication. So much simpler times.
