how the fuck is Manning even close to Favre?
Shut up Florentine.
Favre "retired" four fucking times and then came back. Idiot.

All I have heard are things about Favre and not one ounce of proof that Manning is a scumbag.

Over/under on number of times someone brings up a great counterpoint on IF to one of Opie's complaints and you hear this:

"[Grumble] These people just don't get it." Which basically translates to "Arg, I have no response to this well thought out point that competely makes my comment irrelevant."

Yeah, Manning should have taken less money from the Colts....except that the Colts agreed to pay him, he should give it back to them.

Like if Florentine had 28 million sitting on the table, he would want to walk away.

nevermind the other zillion things in the contract that they couldn't work out.
And the fact that the Colts want to rebuild from the ground up.
and the fact that they didn't want Luck to sit.
And they STILL aren't sure if Manning is healthy.

Wasn't the Colt's owner basically acting and talking like Manning was out before a decision for him to leave was even made?

Yeah, the Colts didn't want to honor their contract. Manning isn't the bad guy. He signed a contract, he was willing to honor it, the team wasn't. He didn't leave the Colts, the Colts cut him.

It was Irsay's call to cut him.

and the caller is 100% correct.

At least Florentine has some knowledge here. Yeah, his rage over Manning is hilarious, but at least he isn't a clueless ass.

Best case scenario, with Manning, Luck or Ted Montana, the Colts don't have the personnel to win shit for a minimum of 5 years.

I don't care if Florentine's facts are wright or wrong. It's entertaining hearing him argue with professional sports argument assholes.

Except he is. He's been wrong about everything and is only "right" because he's yelling louder than the callers.
