And finally, Carlos Danger equating his "challenges" to the average person's "bad day" is just insulting. The fact he can do this commercial with a straight face is reason alone not to vote for that nut.
I haven't been in a fight in over ten years, but if someone said to me they were going to kick my ass with the tone that Troy did, they would get rushed. That's a serious threat with that tone and action.
I think the guys are wrong here too. Troy was using the word from a place of hate and threatening to beat Zito because of his sexual orientation, true or not. That pretty much defines a hate crime. Whether or not Zito is gay doesn't matter, it only matters if Troy thinks Zito is gay and acts on it in the form of malice. Which he did.
I don't know how SiriusXM human resources treats on-air "fights" as opposed to office "fights"; but I tend to think there is some distinction... that being said, if SiriusXM treats the Troy - Zito fight like an off-air fight; then they both would be fired for sure.
Had it turned into something physical I agree Troy should be gone, but since it was confined to a verbal spat (regardless of what was said) I don't think he should be fired. Troy's an ass (and came off as such), but it was language.
