Did a single person let alone a bunch of people actually contact Opie and tell him that they didn't think there would be a live show today?
Gooood mornin'. I'm working from home for the next couple of weeks, so that means I'll be here more, drinking more, playing more video games, and jackin' like a caged chimp. I'd better start hydrating.
Shit I forgot about Bobby Lee and his insane appearances on the show. I love to share the story he told about shitting himself on stage dressed as Connie Chung on MadTV because he was detoxing.
Nice job making an important and impactful post on #16. Go outside, do something productive, like fuck the radiator of a moving 18wheeler.
Opie is complaining about medleys? Didn't he think it was genius for them to do medleys after they had Tommy Shaw in and he played small bits of multiple songs instead of just 1 or 2 full songs?
With all the experience Opie has in radio as a board op, does he not know how hard it is to EQ an event of that size? Spice Girls are live over a track.
I genuinely don't get the Russell Brand hate. He's an interesting guy and, at his best, his stand up is fucking funny.
I'm not listening, but let me guess, Opie "didn't get it" and therefore thinks it was terrible? (I loved it, specifically the last 40 minutes, topping it off with The Who and fireworks was amazing).
Might show he is doing his job. I'd think as a comic you want a reaction from people. If people's reaction was "meh" then he'd be washed up. I just noticed I have no point and should have just stayed quiet. I stink.
