Time to move...

sadly where can we move to? Because of my wifes current job the only option is into move into “bluer” places, I told her hundreds of times, I will move to anywhere in the world for her, and I meant it, except New Jersey or NYC. Sadly NJ is where her company encourages it’s executives to live (because some leftist cocksucker from the NYT wrote a hit piece about the majority of the companies executives living in PA to dodge the INSANE taxes, god forbid you not want to live in a socialist shithole

And just like that, Fez Man is no longer allowed to express a political opinion.
pffft I haven’t been allowed to express my political views for 200 years

That's tough. You're probably going to get NJ-style property taxes in Delco now. I expect they will push to reassess everyone. It wouldn't surprise me if they bump up income taxes, etc. After all, they need to pay for the free shit for the gibsmedat crowd somehow.

Apparently the election people aren’t allowed to ask for ID... buuuuttttt, if you just scan your ID at the table, they will find your info much easier.

I was like “Clever girl, NY State....” The Teacher was mortified by it. “People are going to assume you need an ID to vote now and turn people away.”

Hmm...

I have a family member who was working at the polls and was all over Facebook advertising that you don't need to show ID. I wanted to punch him in the face.

I’ve never needed ID. I live in a small town and everyone at the polling place me.

The Teacher and I moved to a new district, and they couldn’t find her registration so she needed to do an affidavit ballot. They found mine immediately. She’s a registered Democrat. I’m an R.

Interesting...

People never learn or think what big cities are doing is the way. Suburbs in many states leaned or went dem. What do these dumb asses think is going to happen? They not like trumps tone or attitude, so we will vote against him locally. Let me know how that works out for you. Fucking dummies

my polling place always ask or id and matched your signature. Not this time. The old lady signing me in asked my name and address as she had her iPad showing me what was on the screen. I could have been anyone and just read what was on the iPad. This new system does not seem to protect your ability to vote. I liked when they asked for your card or id

I know, thank the Christ. Sawant is a cancer.
Looks like affirmative action is losing, too.
Seattle progs are tweaking out about the car tabs as well, very enjoyable election cycle overall.

@BIV
I live outside the actual city of Seattle but I'm still getting a lot of joy out of this particular race.

If elected, Egan will return LGBTQ representation to the Seattle City Council

Biography

Egan is a fourth generation Seattle resident with a long track record of stepping up, solving problems, and fighting for the things that make the city a great place to live. When Pride Festival was kicked out of the Seattle Center in 2007, Egan stepped up at the last minute and organized a PrideFest celebration worthy of Seattle’s LGBTQ community. After PrideFest Capitol Hill was at threat of shutting down because the city pulled their festival permits, Egan salvaged and reinvented the event in a matter of 11 days.

Since then he’s grown both events to an annual attendance of over 200,000 and has built a massive social media network to advocate for queer and trans communities every day of the year. He was a tireless advocate and fundraiser for Washington’s same-sex marriage referendum and rallied at the Supreme Court for the expansion of marriage laws to include same-sex couples. He was an early and ardent supporter and donor to Seattle Trans Pride and through his work on the Seattle Red Dress Party has raised tens of thousands of dollars for local HIV/AIDS charities.

Egan interacts with small businesses on a daily basis. He is a successful small business owner and non-profit director and has committed his career to building community and expanding opportunity.

As a Seattle City Councilmember, Egan will strive every day to amplify the voices of all Seattleites and harness the great will and innovation available in Seattle to tackle the city’s most intractable problems.
Importance of Candidacy:
  • If elected, Egan will return LGBTQ representation to the Seattle City Council.
  • Oh and screw you straight people
