Hmm, so should we expect a show heavy on anti-Obama rants?

I expect no flow, riffing, and free form hilarity, just like most Nopie shows.

No Jocktober today, as Sam has to listen to one show for a couple of days (Fugitive bit? Probably)

Jingles and Joe DeRosa today. I like Joe when he's the only guest comic. Otherwise he gets into Rich Vos defensive position.

Danny is fucking high. Windows 8 is getting positive reviews from most everyone.

Is it? My Google News must be broke because everything I read is about how confused people are by it.

Don't trust reviewers - try it yourself.
It's clunky, and not really not fit for older desktop machines.
Win8 is intended for new touchscreen tablets, or overpriced touchscreen-monitor based workstations.

I've tried Win8 on a standard laptop, and it doesn't feel right with a mouse and keyboard. It's very schitzophrenic -- the Metro interface is an oversized smartphone screen, and the "desktop" was/is missing the start menu, which makes navigation very clunky.

I'm a sys admin. Win 8 is a fucking pain in the ass. It's a solid OS, but it's infuriating from a tech point of view.

AIDS, i believe you can still get the consumer preview for free... try it then you will know.. but just know that you can't remove it without formatting

That seems counter productive to upgrading to Windows 8 then. Why wouldn't you just stick with 7?

Admittedly, I haven't tried 8 yet. But I've been reading mostly positive things about it.
