He came from New Orleans, Louisiana with a giant forehead and a dream to be a professional football player.

Yeah, unless someone really famous dies in the next 4 hours, they'll play it before the first break.

Hate to be the, “Doesn't get the bit guy” but I don't understand the humor when they play every sports guy crying. Just because they make millions doesn't mean they lack emotions. When O, A, and Jim laugh at it, that is what makes me uncomfortable. The idea that they can't feel for a guy who has excelled at his job and is leaving, is not normal. Didn't Opie say he cried at the Whitney Houston coverage? When the athletes have a funny sounding cry, yeah, its funny. But during the Hines Ward press conference, he just had sniffles as he said his good byes. I don't get it.

... I don't understand the humor ...
Men whose wealth was due to playing a kid's game squeezing out tears in an emotional moment ...

Grown men drinking egg nog 'til they projectile vomit ...

Ball sacs being stung by angry wasps ...

What's not to like? You need to retune your compass, mister.

Yes, I'm a chick because I don't laugh at someone crying because I am not afraid of emotion and human feelings. Very good
Of all comeback styles, this is my least favorite. Not funny or creative in any way. I like mom jokes or living in parents basement jokes better than this and I hate those.

You could have just said yes. Then again, chicks are babblers.

I didn't post here to start an argument. Just wondering why it is funny. Silly me to come back to an irrelevant message board to talk about something

I learned my lesson. Men have emotions, and we should not be afraid or ashamed to express them.

...I love you Konstantine.

Wow, you said that pretty passive-aggressively... you know, like a girl would.

Gaines, Opie likes being uncomfortable and listening to a person crying is very uncomfortable. He feels he is contributing that way.

A trend I have been seeing is certain people ganging up on people who ask questions. Stop.

Not just Opie. 'Tis the essence of cringe humor, methinks.

SOS has spoken. Now let's see if there is a spate of new threads which begin with inane questions so that we can all practice appropriate restraint. Or not.
