Well I figured it time for the off season thread. I will recap to date the moves the Flyers have made so far and I will add to this as more moves are made. I will also fill in our draft picks (as they happen hopefully) for this Sundays draft
For compliance buyouts I will put the total years of the buyout, total amount of the buyout, and how much the player will be paid per year. Remember compliance buyouts dont count against the cap. They are also 2/3 of the total remaing value and double the years remaining on the contract

Signings/Extensions
Steve Mason 1yr $1.5 million $1.5 mil AAV
Zac Rinaldo - 2 year extension, $1.5 million, $750k AAV
Jay Rosehill - 2 year extension, $1.35 million, $675k AAV
Mark Streit - 4 years, $21 million, $5.25 mil AAV
Claude Giroux 8yr extension $66.2 million $8.275 mil AAV
Vinny Lecalvier 5yrs $22.5 million $4.5 mil AAV
Ray Emery 1yr $1.65 million $1.65 mil AAV
Trades
Shane Harper to the New York Islanders for Mark Streit
2013 4th round draft pick to the New York Islanders for Mark Streit

Compliance Buyouts
Daniel Briere - 4 years, $3.333 million, $833,333 per year
Illya Bryzgalov - 14 years, $23 million, $1,642,857 per year

Players Drafted
Rd 1 (11th pick) D Sam Morin from Rimouski (QMJHL)
Rd 2 (41st pick) D Robert Hagg from Tierps HK (Swedish Elite League)
Rd 3 (72nd pick)F Tyrell Goulbourne from Kelowna (WHL)

I'm not sure if it's the system or the players themselves.

Either way he's right about both Bryz and Bob playing better
when not in Philly. It's something they should look into.

I haven't cared about them in years. Seemed an interesting draft tho. If the team ever became watchable I'd peek in on them but nba is kinda plodding to be these days

I loved them growing up. Doc and Mo and Moses were great. I tapped out during the Iverson years and just don't enjoy the nba style much anymore

Thoughts on Morin?
It seems like we drafted a goon with so much talent available but supposedly pronger had a hand in the d picks. So im trying to be open minded
