On Today's MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Rampage Jackson was the guest and Matt Mitrione called in. They got at it and Mitrione challenged him to fight at a catch weight, which Jackson accepted and then Jackson wanted it a winner-take-all fight. Jackson, who previously said he was done with UFC after his next fight when his contract expired, said he's regained his love for MMA, wants to fight a few more years for whoever offers him the most money. In other words, he's likely staying in UFC. He said he can beat Jon Jones and Jones is the kind of guy where it takes two fights to figure out how to beat him. He ripped on Jones for throwing cowardly kicks to the kneecap He said Ryan Bader sucks because he's just a points fighter. He said he has no problems with Dana White (this changes based on Jackson's mood swings). He also intimated that UFC fixed his fight with Forrest Griffin because Griffin was their white golden boy. Oh God.

Wait, "fixed his fight with Forrest Griffin"? So they told Rampage to lose and he went with it? So he's admitting he's a cheater? Or is he saying they fixed it by granting Forrest Griffin magical white boy superpowers that rendered his Rampage mega laser blast attack powerless?

I'm open to the theory that UFC do fix some fights but not to promote Forest Griffin. That is stupid. Some of Anderson Silva's and Jon Jone's fights do look odd. So I'm definitely open to that theory.

If by "odd" you mean "were awfully boring fights that caused Dana to go off the rails" then I agree. But fixed? I don't see it.

I hope he gets the fight, it would be the only time I'd root for Mitrione.

Jackson should just fight at HW anyway. It is harder & harder to make weight

It could all be legit too of course. Sometimes when something looks like it's too good to be true then maybe it is.

Penn accused GSP of using steroids. So there is shady stuff going on with the UFC and their top stars.

Wait, because BJ Penn, who makes some bullshit excuse after every single loss he has had says some stupid accusation and based on that you say something shady must be going on?

Maybe BJ is just a fucking bitch who hasn't actually trained for a fight in years. (training at your home with a bunch of yes men who don't actually try to make you better isn't really training) You do realize he is 7-7-1 in his last 15 fights right?

Honestly, I thought Forest won that fight. It wasn't even really close. It wasn't the most exciting strategy, but his leg shots pretty much took Rampage completely out of it.

So did I
Any accusations of racism in UFC against Rampage is asinine.
Dana stood by him right after that fight when Page should have went to prison for attempted vehicular manslaughter......... I mean dehydration.
Page is a fuckin idiot
