I've got a slideshow I"m putting together for my High School reunion and they want me to use Photo Story 3 to do so. It won't use my MP4's for the background music. I see a ton of converters out there, and figured I'd ask wackbag for a reccomendation before I download something snarky.

For something as simple as a slideshow I'd just use Windows Moviemaker. Save it all as an WMV file.

foobar2000 will convert anything to anything. It's free and not snarky.

Gonna have to try that. I used it for music a while ago when some hipster kid told me it was the bestest. I don't think it could convert back then.

I can open it from Isoft and convert it but it won't play. Any suggestions?

MP4 is just a container. The audio format inside could be pretty much anything. Run Mediainfo on it and report back or post a sample to Mediafire or Rapidshare or some free file hosting site so we can see what the fuck you have.

What are you using to play it? I don't think Windows Media Player can play some files without downloading additional codecs. Download Vlc Player and try again. Also, what are you converting it to? Do like HBB said and upload it to Megaupload so we can see it.

You actually go to class reunions? And you devote time to preparing for them? Were you the class gay? ... or the a/v nerd?
