Today is 9/11/18. While it is the anniversary of a horrible moment in history, I have remembered it through the years. The tragedy caused by those barbarians should never be forgotten as a reminder to what those who want can hurt America if we do not keep them in their places.

How long until this becomes some stupid holiday where people wish each other "Happy 9/11"?

... Never ... ?

It's been nearly 20 years. It's an historical event now. Happy 9/11 hasn't happened yet so why would it start now? Were people wishing each other Happy Pearl Harbor in 1958? I'm not entirely sure your point.

Fair enough. Maybe what I meant is how long until nobody treats it like the national outrage it is. I guess that sounds more like what I'm thinking.

One of my memories of that day was coming home to listening to O&A in my room at my parents house when they were still on afternoons on WNEW and they were taking calls and playing Metallica's Seek and Destroy and Jimmy was getting angry because he was afraid we weren't going to hit back fast or strong enough

My little joke I thought up awhile ago was what wouldve happened if it happened on June 9th....we would've had to soberly refer to "6 9". "Where were you on 6-9?"'
"Never forget 6-9"
Tee hee....because 69, get it?

....I'll show myself out now

Now? For years? But it's been two decades. How long do you think outrage actually lasts? For people and for nations, it's really hard to maintain pure anger for that long, no matter the occasion. 9/11 happened a generation ago. Again, like Pearl Harbor, it's a matter of history. It's distant from us as time does to all things. There's nothing wrong with not being riled up over it.

And yet the reason behind 9/11, and the wars that were started as a result of 9/11, continue. So yes, there is plenty of reason to remain riled up. I still want the US to stop pretending muzzies are the same as us, and apologizing for them at every turn.

You also want us to respect you, so maybe wanting isn't your strong suit.

I don't give a fuck if any of you respect me; I only object to the free-for-all dog pile you guys engage in when you decide to do that. It's obvious as fuck that nobody here respects me, and what can I say? Aside from why a bunch of internet troll assholes respect be a priority to me. Hint: It's not.

I'd say alot of what I remember from the time was Ron and Fez and O&A, people calling in crying or wondering what was going to happen next.

I give those shows a listen once every few years http://files.spreadtheonavirus.com/classicona/treeviewStyle.aspx

Is a priority for me, not be a priority to me.

I'll let you go on assholes instead of assholes'.

My thoughts came in too fast to type and got lost in the translation. No worries, I don't mind being called on bad grammar and punctuation. I try not to engage in such sloppy writing.

Yet you did and here we are.

Did you come up with "Happy Tragedy Day" after someone wished you happy birthday?

Now you're just trying to push me into a reaction. Stop it, it's beneath you.
