I just read on AICN that XM is removing Cinemagic from its line-up, placing it as an online only option. That's kind of disappointing. I really hope we don't lose Radio Classics next. Oh well, at least we get Z100.
Yeah, and don't forget WLTW, Lite FM. WTF?!?!?! Didn't we buy fucking satrad to get away from FM radio?
tell that to the chatty DJs they saw how regular radio was ruined and are doing the same thing to satellite
And as if all that happy horseshit wasn't enough, I can't even stream XM on my phone anymore with 3g, only with wifi. Could be the bootleg roms I've been flashing to it over and over again, but still, I can stream pandora & slacker just fine, so I'm almost at the "fuck XM" stage of this thing.
I'm not going to get all indignant about Cinemagic and pretend that I listened to it all the time, but the October horror movie lineup will be missed.
I do listen to Radio Classics a lot more often than someone my age should. This Whistler is the shit.
So sad to see that station go. Radio Classics is my #2 right after the boys. That old stuff is the best.
I didn't listen to it that often but it was nice to know it was there. Also it was part of the whole niche station thing that XM sold itself on. But yeah, having a simulcast of shitty Z100 which every city in the country has it's own version of already for free (never mind the fact that theres both Sirius hits and 20 on 20) makes perfect sense.
I really thought radio classics was gone. Where is it at ? I have both xm and shitious. Fuck its early and omg my dog just farted. Holy shit thats bad.
Meh. The only thing about this whole thing that actually really pisses me off is having FM radio stations on my XM. If I wanted FM, I'd NOT BE PAYING FOR F**KING SAT-RAD!!!!
it is infuriating when Sirius makes announcements about FM shit that will be simulcasted on Sirius like its some big fucking deal. I can remember when they picked up Glenn Beck and he was on their homepage and I got about 7 emails about it. That fucking asshole is on in every radio market not to mention you can get him on the web and thousands of radio apps.
Dude...Boston Blackie rocks. And hey, FYI, if yougo to the internet archive site, most of those shows are public domain now and you can download gigs of it.
