Maybe I missed it, but why Best of the Past 12 Months yesterday? Did Ron just want to spare us Fez's phony outrage over Roy Hibbert's unimportant comment?

It was a planned 3-day weekend. They mentioned it on Friday.

Holy shit, Fez brought Ronnie an umbrella. How many years has that bit been going on? What a conclusion!

Congratulations, Ron, on being the only person on the planet who doesn't think "All in the Family" holds up.

Eh...it kind of doesn't. That's not to say it isn't a good show, but it definitely feels like a product of its time in a more obvious and blatant way than something like Taxi (which I think is a funnier show).

I think I agree with you. I like the idea of All in the Family and what it represents, but I'm probably not going to be watching it again because it just feels dated. That said, I feel that way about most shows that I've already seen. It's not like I'm sitting around watching old episodes of Silver Spoons right now.

I know Ron has never seen it, and therefore thinks that it sucks, but GoT has people talking.
Especially after the other night.

If you don't like the Walking Dead comics, then you are just being a contrarian assfuck.
So god damned good.

I really want to start reading these, but they're too expensive for me to justify buying. One of these days....

That's what I'm talking about. $35 is a lot for a book that I'm going to tear through quickly.
Its over a thousand pages and down from 60 bucks. Id say its a deal for the first 48 books.

I know what you're saying and I want to buy the compendiums. I just don't have the disposable income to drop $35 on a frivolous purchase like that. Becoming a professor in an obscure and dying field wasn't exactly the best financial choice I could have made.

I like that Todd went to a gay dinner party and is finally prying out of his gay shell and everyone is still laughing at him. What a buffoon.

Nah. I was just a little boy when it was on, and wouldn't have understood it at the time. To a five-year-old, it was just Archie and Meathead yelling at each other. The last time it was being run on TV Land, a year or two ago, I recorded it and found it was just hysterical. Forty years later, has anything really changed? Bigots are still stupid, and liberals are still douches.

The quality of writing in television comedy. A greater appreciation for subtlety.

Im surprised it took this long to get to a Pixies day.

Gigantic has one of the best bass lines ever created.

I hope fezzie can liven this place up. Norton's advice show was a real downer.

Wow, another song I haven't listened to in a lifetime it seems like.

It's great hearing a song randomly. You know how you'll skip a song on your iPod 500 times in a row but if you hear it in the background of a tv show or something and suddenly it's spine tingling and the most interesting song in the world again?

I didn't hear it. Sounds like a must-listen from what I just read though.
