OMG they are ROUND now. Like a fucking Ritz cracker. Goodbye Nabisco. This is a mistake not seen in retail since New Coke.

Well Ritz crackers are buttery yummy goodness but a saltine should be thin and crispy not thick and round.

Did they change the recipe of the cracker or just the shape? If it is just a change in shape I am mostly ok with that.

Luckily, the generic/store brands are just as good :)

Round saltines better not be here to stay.

Interesting. Just this week, we were talking about how a dollar bill, an unsharpened #2 pencil, and a saltine are good examples of something to use as a frame of reference when taking pictures of a wound for the hospital, because they are all standard size.

I bet it takes slightly less cracker dough to make a round cracker than it does to make a square, which over the course of hundreds of thousands of boxes produced, add up to a pretty savings. Still, I want my square crispy goodness.

No what they actually did was just throw them loose into a 10oz box instead of the square ones in a lb box.

This is the biggest travesty in the cracker industry since they came out with unsalted saltines.

No wonder they've fallen into a tie for sixth place with Table Time and Allied Biscuit.
