Has anyone done this? I have a 52 dollar best buy gift card and would like to trade it for cash online. I have looked at a few sites and it seems you can get 92 percent of the gift card value. I am thinking about doing this, can anyone recommend a good site.

My brother gave me a $50 gift card. I wanted to get an SD card for my phone. Best Buy had one for $79.00 and Newegg had the same model for $29.00 So I could've either bought it at Best Buy or bought it at Newegg and thrown the BB card away and been in the same situation financially.

Let me know how it turns out. I've got $50 in Best Buy gift cards that I'd like to get rid of too. Who was offering you 92%?

Best Buy sells Visa gift cards that cost $6 and can be bought with Best Buy gift cards.

Thanks. That worked. I've had those things since Christmas and refuse to shop in Best Buy. Some sales rep sold me a digital camera years ago that the box was "opened," even though I paid regular price. When I tried to return it they tried to charge me some bullshit 15% restocking fee.

Taking a 12% hit on the card was well worth it to not have to give them my business and to just walk out of there with a Visa card.
