Due to the fiscal cliff I may be losing my unemployment benefits if they dont figure it out by the 31st so I am trying to sell my quad. As you can tell from the title it is a 2004 Honda 450R I am looking for $2000 for it and here is the pasted text from my Craigslist Ad (pix available upon request because i have to take some) :

For Sale a 2004 Honda 450R ATV 2 wheel drive Kick Start
Mods/Accessories
White Bros full exhaust
K&N Air filter with open air box
Jet Kit
AC Racing Pro Peg Nerf bars
AC Racing Sport front bumper
AC Racing Swing arm skid plate
Quadtech Hood
Factory 909 handle bars
tether kill switch
20x10 ITP XCR rear tires
22x5 ITP XCR front tires
REVMAX rev box (12,000 rpm)

Payment Options: Cash if you want to take it with you. Check or money order you will notified of when you can pick up after payment clears (I will bring a contract we both sign so you don't have to worry that i will sell it or scamming you)

extremely low hours on the quad (approx 200 total) and the only issue it has is the original owner went down 2 teeth on the front sprocket for more acceleration which makes it fast off the line but it lacks top end and hits the rev limiter really fast even with the rev box. I built a 426ex with 11:1 compression and i never touched the rev limiter with the rev box plugged in. A quick swap of new sprockets and chain will fix this (always replace both sprockets when doing a swap as well as the chain). I have title in hand. I bought this quad the summer of 2007 from an older guy who got it to keep up with his kids dirtbikes on the trails and he babied it. I bought it with the intention ofsetting it up for MX racing but i started working at the casinos in atlantic city shortly after i bought. I only really rode it on the trails a handful of times and never got the chance to race it but i start it once a month and take it for a lap around the farm i keep it at. As I stated in the beginning this quad is KICK START. Frame is straight and it has the original plastics on it and has never been crashed. for 2000 this is a steal. i am about to lose my unemployment due to the fiscal cliff so it must go. Pictures available upon request (i did not have any at the time of this listing) I will make it available for a test ride for serious inquiries only if you only want to kick tires please do not waste my time I am rather busy. I am willing to deliver it if a deposit is given to someone who is within a 30mi radius of hammonton, nj. Outside of that I will drive 30mi to meet at a public place to exchange thats the best i can do sorry.

Sounds like a bargain. Enough so that if it was a bike I'd take it off your hands and have it shipped even. Unfortunately it wouldn't fit on the trails I ride. Somebody is going to get a steal.

You need to say that in the ad then. Or ask for $2500. People always assume on Craig's that the price is negotiable if you don't say "firm."

And p.s., your unemployment benefits aren't going anywhere.
