Shadowrun is due out July 25'th, next week. They emailed my key to use on steam on the release date.

It's Cyberpunk Fantasy Magic turn based RPG. Mix of Magic, fantasy and futuristic genres.

I'm not sure what it will be priced at. I paid $10 as a backer.

Some friends of mine played the tabletop RPG back in the day. Interesting backstory.

It's going to be on PC, Mac, Android, and Ipad on release day. I'm guessing it will be ported to the consoles later.
It's not going to be like the FPS they made in 2007. It's going to be turnbased 2D game, just in case you are remembering that game.

I wasn't, but I love the Shadowrun world and I love 2D turn based RPGs. Not enough of them made.

I've been reading some of the comments on the Kickstarter and there is a substantial number of people who thought it was going to be like the previous console game. They are not happy.

Damn, no Quick-Save. Have to play through the entire chapter. This game can easily be played on a low powered Android Tablet or even a phone.

I tried playing this on my big screen in 1080P and it's hard to read the text on the screen, you can zoom in a bit with the scroll wheel, but not enough. I've been playing on my PC with a 23 inch monitor instead. It plays a lot like XCom, but the graphics are not at the same level. The saves are a lot like the older turn-based games, it can be annoying some instances, but it also stops people from quicksaving their way thru a game and accepting the consequences for making choices. It's also very linear and all the side-quests are on the same screen or chapters as the main story. The main idea is that with the tools they are releasing with the game that a lot more is going to be generated by the modding community.

The save system really is annoying. I only hope wasteland 2 uses a save system like Fallout 1 and 2. I've been replaying the same chapter over and over all afternoon. It was 4 chapters right in a row forcing me to use up all my med kits. Now two of my team are nearly dead and I'm at the big boss fight.
