I'm watching the top 10 Countdown and the volume is going up and down pretty noticably. Anyone else? What's up?
I have HD service on a new panny 42" 1080p plasma

Well...it IS rather fabulous :icon_mrgr
No doubt. :icon_bigg

But I'm willing to bet your problem is related to the signal, and not your tv.

I am having the EXACT same problem. I have DirecTV HD service and the Fuse channel, which I enjoy very much, is almost unwatchable due to the volume constantly going up and down during videos. I googled the problem and that's how I found this thread...there's not much info out there. If you hear anything, please drop me an email.

Thanks,
Eric

P.S. I also have a Panasonic 42" plasma, but that shouldn't make a difference since that's just a monitor and doesn't do anything with audio. Right?

ALL the HD channels broadcast Over the air??
Well yeah, but unfortunately you'd have to break the law slightly. Either that or you can pick up free sat channels like The Documentary Channel, CNN and a few others if you're not big on seeing the 200 fucking religious channels.

I don't have the systems to do that but they are out there. Just look around.
