On the one hand, I really want them to get away from politics/current events.

On the other, I really want a Q episode because you know Randy would be all up in that.

Meh. Two plots, both pretty weak. I'm starting to get a little tired of Cartman's machinations. Just a little too over the top stupid.

Yes but they were spot on with the school shooter apathy that was so well done
True-ish. I guess Sharon represents the over the top left, while Randy & company represent the apathetic mainstream?

I just thought it was pretty genius that they manage to do a show about school shootings without ever touching the gun control narrative. I love the parents being so concerned about their kids and the kids not even realizing that there was another shooting

I thought the obvious Jessica Jones mockery was pretty good

That was classic SP. This script could've aired seasons ago.

It was fairly subtle. Loved it, but hated the Token/Black Panther storyline. That sucked.

As for this season, how serious are Matt & Trey about the subliminal #cancelsouthpark campaign? Is that their way of bracing us for their deciding to end it, fucking with those haters who really want to end it, or just to garner publicity to promote the season?

Honestly, I like SP, but if they wrapped it up I wouldn't shed any tears. Their primetime has come and gone. Now it feels a little played out to me.

It still is better than the Simpsons.
I love the first 10 seasons of the Simpsons then it goes to shit for however many more seasons it is on.
South Park has been a little different each season but it still makes me laugh.

I’m watching a few episodes because there is nothing else on. It’s sad to see how far this show has fallen. I really hope it’s the last season.

It’s just not funny anymore, everything they are doing has been done already.
