The crawl starts "It's been three years and everyone in the resistance has died...."

Not Rose though, please not Rose!!!
I'm curious what direction they will go with Rose. Will she be Jar Jar'd or will they work really hard to find something for her to do?

I remember thinking she had died in TLJ and then she was alive at the end and I was like "oh no..."

I feel like they’re going to want to have something for her especially since she the actress got cyberbullied. I’ve also likened her to a Lisa Simpson type character, nobody in the audience’s favorite but the writers love her. I’m sure not picturing what Rose could do to be useful and advance the story though. The Rose/Finn plotline did very little to advance TLJ, with maybe the exception of introducing us to Broom Boy

We don't know if the writers love her. We don't even know if Johnson loves her. She was a character whose point I understood who didn't work because of many reasons but became a martyr because the Internet changed her Wiki to Ching Chang Chinaman. If you idiots didn't cyberbully her, we could have avoided this mess.

They can do anything. The only thing of note that happened to The Resistance between TFA and now is Carrie Fisher died.

Abrams seems to have a good read on the audience and how to give them what they want, as basic and non-controversial as possible. He knows that people hated Casino Planet and crashing Finn's ship. Odds are she'll die early avenging her sister.

I didn’t cyberbully her.

And ok, we don’t know for sure if the writers love her. Just a feeling I have.

Yeah, but apparently Fisher is still going to be in the next movie.

I can’t see Rose getting killed off. She’s not major enough where killing her off would really have any impact (unless they greatly expand her role) but not minor enough to make her a redshirt.

Going to be at my In Laws tomorrow. Probably doing gift unwrapping about when you’re doing HitW. So, probably not.
You're married?!??

I'm surprised. Not shocked, but surprised.

Follow me here. Snoke and Ben never said they were Sith, we just assumed that. In fact, the use of "Ren" instead of "Darth" implies a completely different belief system. And there are many different force religions.

If not, who knows how the Sith would feel about the KoR?

Now lets look at Rose.

She helped come up with the mission so save the rebellion.

She also was on the mission to Canto that also failed. They just happened to end up in a cell with someone who could help them, but wasn't the person they were looking for.

She delayed their escape by trying to free the last beast.

At the end, she stopped Finn from destroying the superweapon.

We know she comes from a shitty background and, from her reaction to the rich people on Canto, was filled with anger.

She seems to always be there when either side fucks up.

What if Rose is a Sith? What if she has been training under the Emperor's clone from the beginning? She never encountered another force user in the entire movie, so no one was there to say "Hey!"

So the Binks theory applied to ... Can't think of a good rhyme for Binks.

Do you really want her to have more to do? She'll make Hayden look like Jaden!

No. No I don't.

I don't want any of that. Just contemplating the ifs.

Ok, variation on the Jar-Jar was a secret Sith Lord thing. But on the last point remember even the Jedi council couldn’t detect Palpatine right under their noses.

Did you guyses know that BDT's character was named DJ, for Don't Join? I didn't know that until I read his Wookiepedia page. I thought I blocked it out from the movie but considering that there wasn't half a page of REL about that, I assume it wasn't referenced.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/DJ

Reading that page, the character makes even less sense. The way they describe him only works as a character if his worldview changes how one of the main characters views the world, even if they return back to terra firma by the end of the movie. But this goes back to my belief that Finn should have left the Resistance at the end of this movie.

I watched the video provided on the page called "Star Wars Explained" but it's still all muddled bullshit. The guy mentions that Denel Strench not actually existing may be a nod to BDT starring in The Usual Suspects, which is retarded.

Also, what's up with the names of the writers?

And I don't even want to get into the colorist's name.

They created Thrilling Adventure Hour.

And Java Tartaglia is an Italian dance when you're-a hopped up on the coffee.

How is Fisher in this? Did they really have enough extra footage laying around before she died a year ago?
