Apparently. Opie once dissed him about it. And Cedric The Entertainer (Steve's former best friend) made a comment alluding to him wearing a wig.

I never got the whole wig thing. If you're losing your hair, so what?
Vanity may be what helps us try and look nice and not be slobs all
the time, but if I'm going bald I'm not gonna try and hide it either.

Yeah, and being bald does not make you a slob. No one is horrified or repulsed when they see a bald man walking down the street.

I'd like him to shave off that facial hair of his. He's had that shit since his short lived ABC Sitcom "Me and Da Boyz" back in 1995.

He looks like Tommy Edwards. The late 1950's singer who sang "It's all in the game." Steve looks like a chocolate covered peanut head with a stache.
